Kris Youmans
Kris Youmans has been involved in live music since he was 8. As a young cellist, he performed in his first youth symphony with the SMU Conservatory Orchestra. 10 years later, not a week after graduating from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in May 1995, he produced the first of over 10,000 concerts over the next 30 years. Kris has worked as an independent promoter and has also worked to bring several Dallas venues to the national limelight as the buyer for venues such as Rubber Gloves (Denton, TX), the Granada Theater, Trees, Palladium Ballroom/ Gilleys Complex, and many more. He was also the buyer for Fortress Festival in Ft. Worth, TX.
He is known in the live music industry as the person to go to for shooting stars on their early plays. Kris was the first promoter in North Texas to promote concerts for artists like Adele, Lizzo, Halsey, Childish Gambino, Drake, The Lumineers, Nathaniel Ratliff and the Night Sweats, and many, many more. Kris has been a stalwart in the Texas concert promotion industry for almost 3 decades and will be for many more. At The Helm Presents will ensure that.

Gavin Mulloy
Gavin Mulloy is a cornerstone of the Dallas music scene, bringing decades of creative vision and local expertise to this latest venture, At The Helm presents. Known for his instrumental role in shaping the identity of iconic Dallas venues like Granada Theater, Trees and The Bomb Factory plus events like the Deep Ellum Block Party, Homegrown Fest, Index Fest, Oaktopia & Red Bull Sound Select, Mulloy has earned a reputation for his sharp wit, community-focused marketing, and an uncanny ability to curate unforgettable live experiences. With At The Helm presents, he continues to champion the North Texas arts community by blending professional production with a DIY spirit, ensuring that every show is as much a tribute to the artists as it is to the city’s vibrant culture.
